Membership Terms & Conditions
Age Requirement: Membership is available to individuals over 18 years only.
Health & Fitness: By applying, Members confirm they are in good physical condition and capable of exercise without health risks. Any medical conditions or changes should be disclosed to Reception staff.
Use at Own Risk: Members use the Hotel’s facilities at their own risk. The Hotel is not liable for illness or injury, except in cases of proven negligence.
Personal Property: The Hotel is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of Members' belongings.
Facility Access & Safety: Facilities must be vacated upon request by staff or when a fire alarm sounds. Members or guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be denied access. No outside food or drink is permitted. Proper attire is required in all designated areas.
Admission Rights: Staff may refuse admission or cancel membership if regulations are breached. No refunds are provided for such cancellations.
Identification: Members must present their membership card and sign in at Reception when using the swimming pool or tennis court.
Changes to Terms: The Hotel may adjust terms and conditions with 30 days’ notice.
Non-Transferable Membership: Membership is non-transferable and non-refundable. Availability for Restaurants, Crèche, tennis court, and Treatment Rooms is subject to booking.
Facility Closures: Facilities may close occasionally for maintenance, cleaning, or exclusive events. Members will be notified when possible.
Guest PolicyFriends and family may occasionally accompany Members to the pool. Day passes cost £10 per adult and £5 per child.
Payment & Membership
Annual Membership: Valid for 12 months if paid in full.
Monthly Memberships: Membership continues monthly until cancelled with 30 days' notice. The first payment is required upfront.
Swimming Pool RulesChildren must be accompanied by an adult. Infants must wear swim nappies. No diving, running, or outdoor shoes allowed in the pool area. Members are encouraged to wear slippers or flip-flops around the poolside and changing areas.
Treatment Rooms
Booking & Arrival: Advanced booking is required. Arrive 5 minutes early to complete a consultation form. Late arrivals may affect treatment times.
Cancellations: 24 hours’ notice is required; for bookings over two hours, 48 hours’ notice is required. Late cancellations or no-shows are charged at full cost.
Treatment Times: Printed times include consultation and changing periods.
Four Bears’ Den Crèche
Age Range: Open to children aged three months to eight years. Pre-booking is essential.
Late Arrivals: If late by more than 30 minutes, the booking may be offered to another guest.
